This poem is based on Genesis 3:9, in which we read God's first question to Adam, 'Where are you?'

How foolish of mankind to still think we can run away from God? How foolish to try and shift blame? Our independence from God could only be for our utter ruin.

Adam tried to hide from God's wrath. But there was only one tree that could hide Adam from God's wrath, and that tree was found in Mt. Calvary years later. Adam tried to cover his nakedness using leaves. But there was only one piece of clothing that could cover his nakedness, and that saving grace came to us through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Now, the only question is, are we still hiding? Or are we willing to be found?
